Askaloo 2.3.1

Askaloo's goal is to connect people with similar interests through hangouts and activities, providing a real-time experience to discover and engage with local events and groups.

• Hangouts

  Users can create and join casual hangouts. When posting a hangout, other users can click join in the post. The hangout creator is notified when someone says “hello” in the hangout and can decide whether to accept the new participant. If accepted, the new member gains equal rights to accept and invite others, enabling larger group outings.

  Use cases include forming ad hoc groups that can grow as more participants join.

• Activities

  Creators can post activities with a description, date, time, cover photo, maximum seats, and a price if applicable. Activities can also be repeated to appear automatically in the feed. Anyone can join activities, and acceptance is not required to participate.

  This feature supports simple management of courses for a business or organizing get-togethers, covering scheduling, capacity, and optional payments.
